Theatre Virtual Audition

 

VIRTUAL auditions for the BFA Acting, BFA Musical Theatre, and BA Directing program(s) will be required to schedule their audition through Acceptd.

All other audition dates for in person located in our prospective students page should you choose to change your audition option. 

1. Create an account and begin an Audition Application through Marymount Manhattan College’s Acceptd page.
   • You will be required to use your MMC Application ID# in order to successfully complete your application. Your MMC Application ID# was emailed to you in a confirmation email. Should you need help locating this number, please email theatre@mmm.edu. 
2. Once you have submitted your Audition Application you will be required to log back into your Acceptd account to schedule your preferred audition.
   • A $30.00 non-refundable audition fee will be collected online through Acceptd when you register for your live audition experience. If you are auditioning for multiple programs – look for the code on Acceptd to avoid additional fees. No cash, checks, or other monies will be collected directly by Marymount Manhattan College, so please do not send audition payments to MMC.
   • Applicants who are issued a need-based application fee waiver are also eligible for an audition registration fee waiver.
3. Please register for all applicable audition sessions required of your intended program:
   • BFA Acting – Afternoon Monologue Audition (individual appointments).
   • BFA Musical Theatre – Afternoon Monologue/Song Audition. You will be automatically registered for a morning Dance Audition on the same day. 
   • BA Directing – Morning Directing Interview; Afternoon Monologue Audition
4. Once you have successfully registered for one of our audition dates, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions from Acceptd. Please hold onto this confirmation as you will need it to access your online audition.
    
5. Log back into your Admissions Portal and complete any additional missing checklist items prior to your audition.
