Join us on campus for a unique preparation experience created specifically for students applying to the Higher Education Opportunity Program(HEOP) and to our nationally recognized Performing Arts programs. During this event, you’ll receive personalized guidance from our world-class faculty as you prepare for your audition, interview, or portfolio review. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete your HEOP interview that same day!

Important Scheduling Information:

The HEOP Pre-Audition Workshop and support session will take place on Friday at 10:00 AM for all students, regardless of program or area of study. This preparation session occurs before your scheduled audition, interview, or portfolio review, and is designed to ensure you feel confident and supported going into your formal evaluation.

Students should plan to attend the workshop first and then proceed to their scheduled audition, interview, or portfolio review as assigned.

Throughout the day, you’ll meet members of the HEOP and Admissions teams, learn more about the support services available to you at MMC, and gain insight into what it means to be part of a community where your talent, voice, and potential are championed. This session is designed to help you feel confident, supported, and ready for the next step in your admissions journey.

We encourage HEOP applicants to join us during our upcoming audition weekends on January 23–24 or February 6–7, when additional resources and expanded faculty access will be available.
